Welcome to the Korell ping watcher. This site was inspired by Packetlife from Jeremy Stretch.

It shows incoming pings (ICMP Echo Requests) to ping-watcher.net. You may use it to explore how time-to-live/hop limit, packet size, IPv4 vs. IPv6, and routing affect ping behaviour. Please do not leave continuous pings running. It will spoil the experience for other users.

Incoming pings are shown in bold for 20 seconds after being displayed. Pings from you are shown in red, but only if your pings use the same version of IP that you use to access the website.

The following commands and variations can be used:

Set the outgoing TTL / hop limit
